CONFERENCE PRAYER

Loving and heavenly Father, with grateful hearts, we praise and thank You that you never leave our sides.

Our souls magnify Your holy Name for being gracious to us.

Our beings are lifted to You, our God and our Saviour, because of Your endearing love.

With sincerest hearts, we humbly ask for Your mercy and forgiveness

for all our shortcomings to You, people around us and our loved ones.

Clean our hearts, our minds and our lives so we may become worthy servants of Your grace.

Remove all obstacles and worries that will hinder us from serving You faithfully and fully.

Remain in our hearts and guide us in love and humility as we serve Your people through CFC.

As we prepare Your upcoming CFC Canada Eastern Conference on July 4 and 5, 2020 in Ottawa,

we implore Your grace, wisdom, guidance, courage and strength.

Be mightily present with Your Holy Spirit in every decision and action we make.

Grant us the humility to always seek Your will in all that we do and say.

We offer up to You all of our plans, preparations and operations,

especially for the organizing committees, service team, delegates and guests.

We also lift up to You to protect and bless all activities, equipment and the venue where You gather us all.

Send forth Your Holy Spirit and cover us all with the most Precious Blood of Your Son, Jesus Christ.

Guided by the 2020 Conference Theme: "Called to Holiness",

we seek the intercession of our Loving Mother, the Blessed Virgin Mary, and all the Saints,

to light our paths on becoming holy like them.

May we fulfill the mission of holiness, not only to ourselves, but to our families and the people we interact and serve –

to bear spiritual fruit of LOVE, PEACE, HOPE and CHARITY!

Let the journey of Holiness begin with You!

All glory and praise be to You, Oh Lord, now and always, through Your Son, Jesus Christ

and the Holy Spirit forever and ever.  AMEN.

Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle, be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil;

may God rebuke him, we humbly pray; and do thou, O Prince of the heavenly host, by the power of God,

cast into hell Satan and all the evil spirits who prowl through the world seeking the ruin of souls.  Amen.
